The piece discusses the challenges the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) presents for smallholder farmers worldwide and highlights Meridia’s efforts to ensure they maintain access to regulated supply chains while halting deforestation.

We collaborate with companies and traders exporting and importing the commodities affected by the EUDR to the EU market to verify the quality of their supply chain’s existing field and physical flow data and map farms where this data is still missing.
